Solomon 3:4

Song of Solomon 3:4 says: "Scarcely had I passed them, when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother’s house, to the room of the one who conceived me."

This verse is part of the poetic and deeply intimate dialogue found in the Song of Solomon, which celebrates love and devotion. In 3:4, the speaker expresses the profound joy and fulfillment of finding their beloved after a search. It symbolizes the unyielding bond and connection between the two, illustrating love that refuses to let go once it’s found.

Spiritually, this verse is often interpreted as a metaphor for the soul's longing and union with God—the pursuit of divine love and the joy of encountering His presence. It reflects the themes of longing, seeking, and unwavering commitment in love.
